This framed and matted reproduction of Monet’s The Japanese Bridge is exquisite! It’s part of a famous series of 12 works Monet (1840-1926) painted from a single vantage point in his water garden at Giverny, France. Monet moved to Giverny in 1883 and meticulously designed this water garden to be his "greatest work of art" and a lifelong subject for his brush. The bridge serves both as a structural element and a symbolic "connector" between the human world and the natural environment.
His brilliant use of color makes this print come to life, and yet it is soft at the same time.
